A day on the river

Well summer is in full swing, and it didn't take long before the river began calling our name! No river can be fully enjoyed without the company of good friends, so the Hector families (Valley and Mountain) decided to join us in the fun! So just sit right back and you'll hear a tale.....

Here's the fleet putting out onto the open waters...for a three hour tour.

The Millionaire and his wife? And is that the movie star riding in the tube in the back?

...or is that the Professor and Maryanne?

What would a three hour tour be without a little splashing?

This is the favorite picture from the day. Not only is Gilligan unaware that he is stuck in a BUSH, but he is leaving it up to the fair young maiden to steer them out! No wonder they never made it off that island!

Thankfully our three hour tour ended happily at the desired destination! It was a good thing too...look how hungry these poor boys look! We need some taco salad...stat!

Twas a great start to our summer boating season! Who wants to come next week?

  3. It was a blast, despite the flipping of boats, and I think we should prepare for the Colorado River. The taco salad was really good, especially since L was describing it to us the last portion of the ride. Looking forward to next time.
