Almost Home!!!!

Well, I lied! This isn't going to be the last post. I just thought you would like an update on how our drive home is going. The country is flying past our windows quite fast this trip, but here are a few shots to remember. This one is just outside our final resting place last night; Amarillo, TX. Look at all of the bug remains on the windshield!

Eve took this one. The sun coming through the clouds was spectacular yesterday evening.

A sideways view of the road and sky... I don't know why I felt like I had to put a caption on this one... you know what it is!

Rach reading "Guns of the Lion". Oh, you thought that was a boy's book? Well, then you'll be surprised to hear that I am reading "Horatio Hornblower". It's okay, our parents balance us out... mom is reading "What he must be if he wants to marry my Daughter", and dad is reading "Family Driven Faith." Care to guess what Eva is reading? (answer will be at the end of the post)

And here are some driving videos. This one was taken outside of Amarillo. The song playing in the background is one of our "road-trippin' theme songs". It's aptly named "Don't take me far from home."

Here we are somewhere in the middle of NM, again listening to a family favorite for road-trippin'.

And this video was taken an hour after the one above. Notice how quick these storms come and go in the desert. I quite enjoy driving through these downpours...

Well, that's it for now. Tomorrow we should be home, Lord willing! We are so ready to be back with everyone... See ya soon!

(Answer: Eva is reading "The Magician's Nephew," by C. S. Lewis)
