Our Weekend

This last weekend was full of fun! We begin with this photo taken on Friday. These are future peaches...yummy!

Rach has been doing some fabulous hairstyles on Eva this past month. This particular hairstyle is made up of three hearts and a bow...are you making the connection?

And then there was a party! Now, would you believe that this young man is now 18 years old...?

Okay, fine....would you believe 17 years old?

Definitely not Daddy Warbucks. While we were playing an awesome game of Ultimate Frisbee, he was paying bills...which would you choose?

Okay, now there is a strange story behind this photo. This was taken in the woman's bathroom of the Gallo Center of the Arts in Modesto. Mr. Davies (cellist extraordinaire) graciously offered us four tickets to an evening of Mahler, performed by the Modesto Symphony on Saturday night. Morgen was staying with us that night, so dad dropped the four of us girls off at the "center" (plaza, theater or really, really big building...whichever you prefer) for a night of beautiful music. Because our God is so good, we ended up with seats that were not only in the center of our row, but were directly behind the orchestra pit! It was truly a memorable evening. This photo was taken in the bathroom, in front of a full length mirror (Do they have full length mirrors in the men's bathroom? I think not!). We are sort of laughing because there was a lady washing her hands behind us, and we wanted to take the photo before she suspected us of anything strange!

Its the most wonderful time of the year...well, for a gardener, that is!

This final photo was taken today. Our plum trees have finally started to blossom, and what a plentiful harvest it looks to be!
